Writing - Leadership Article

In writing I have been learning use more punctuation and using paragraph consistently

I have been especially focusing on using parentheses and commas. I have highlighted these in green where I have used them as well as other punctuation that I changed because it was used incorrectly. Here is a piece of my writing that shows this.

(E.G Leadership is a skill of being motivate people it means teams to work towards a goal.

There are 6 traits of an effective leader: Integrity ,Trustworthy ,Resilient Goal focused  Active thinker and Motivational. My key leadership role for 2017 is being a peer mediator this means each Monday on  lunch time, I will be wearing a green vest that says peer mediator plus a an ipad and a peer mediator process to guide us through problems, to be a good peer mediator I need to show all the 6 traits.)

superhero

a few weeks ago my class did some drawing then we did a narrative about superhero i did one with Briana and my superhero was Critty the cat, her sidekick was marine marine was critty owner.

i have restarted on my superhero writing because it too not neat so i restarted.

my goal was to be  neat and writ in paragraph.

When the year 5s where at camp the year 6s did lots of fun activity's with Mrs Casey.
we did sand art word searches superhero writing reading maths drawing and art.
my favorite was sand art and superhero.

Litercy week

WHAT: This week was literacy week the activity i did  was one of  the library activity.

SO WHAT: I enjoyed the scavenger hunt which was going to each class finding a picture on the window and writing the room number on the paper. i mange to finish it with my sister.

kauri athletics

WHAT: On Wednesday we did Athletics the activities are discus, high jump, sprints, shot put, long jump and relays.


SO WHAT: My favorite Activity was high jump because i had a new high score 95 cm!



NOW WHAT: Next week we are doing long jump and relays if Briana doesn't come i can be Briana.

Word Study - Blog 1 term 3 What? I am learning to understand how words are formed using roots, prefixes and suffixes. So What? I have learned that words that have the root hydra- and aqua- mean water. For example aquamarine is a colour. I have learned that words that have the root spect- mean look / see. For example spectacle = glasses that help someone see beter Now what? I feel that I have a good understanding of the root words aqua-, hydra-, and spect-
