leadership blog post #3 (peer mediation)

On Monday I did peer mediation with Solani my BFF there was this boy who got injured ( cause he triped up ) so me and Solani walked with him to a duty teacher. When we got there the teacher was really busy so we walked away to another teacher the other teacher said to go back to that teacher so we did what she said ( so annoying ) and when we got there the teacher was busy so we waited for quite a long time so me and Solani left the little boy waiting to we could carry on the duty.
I think I showed respect R5 and R15, I showed R5 by respecting staff because I listened to them and R15 by respecting the little boy though out his ingur was just a little brose.

Blog Title: Term 2 Novel Study

This term I have been reading and studying the novel Run.

I found this novel interesting, because each chapter is Victoria and Jacobs story.

During the novel I had to complete a thinking map which shows that I can classify how the author has shown the theme of the book.

• Overall I would give this novel a rating of  10/10 and I would  recommend it to others to read because It is really interesting and not sad or bad it's cool and amazing.

term 2 book review (The Isle of the lost.)

The Isle of the lost
This story is about Descendent, Descendent is a movie about villains and fairy tale the main character is Mal daughter of Maleficent's , Evie daughter of the Evil Queens , Jay son of Jafar and Carlos son of Cruella de vill. The story all starts at the Isle of the lost. In the Isle of the lost Maleficent in Sleeping Beauty ruled there as you may be wondering in Sleeping beauty that Prince Phillip killed Maleficent but in the story Maleficent said that Prince Philip killed the dragon not her and she got flyed away to the Island and then King beast and Queen Belle called it the isle of the lost where all the baddies live the bad thing is there were no Wifi no magic! Soon little Mal got older with her little friends Evie Jay and Carlos they desided to go to the dirty beach well more like a rubbish dump but there they saw the beautiful Castle....  I really Enjoyed this book because Descendent is one of my favourite movies. I recommend you to read this book because I find this book amazing at start i thought this book was too wicked but near the end it was super cool.

Drama

In ARTS this term we have been learning to: Drama

Here is a link to our online modelling book.

• During this unit of learning we:
• Described the characteristics of silent performances.
• Identified different techniques used in silent performances.
• Used these techniques in a variety of different practice situations.
• Worked in a small group to put together our own silent performance.

The most challenging part of this unit of learning was the Acting because at start we had to think then practise and practise and practise our throwing and catching.

The story that my group told silently was at home when Solani & Warisha got Jealous of me having a soft toy and tried to steal it.

Overall I think my group worked really well and I think our act is perfect.

Current Events Term 2, 2017

WALT: I can successfully research a current event.

• Year 7/8: I can use appropriate skills and technologies to find and use a range of texts for specific purposes.

Each week we have read a short text about a current event/ topic. We then formed questions based on what we had read.  After this we researched the answers to our questions and finally we gave our opinions on what we had found out.
